PBIS, Equity, and You: Next Steps

Description

In this one hour townhall, participants will enhance understanding around their role as leaders in the implementation of PBIS to promote an environment of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI).  Additionally, participants will be provided with some hands-on examples of how they can begin to reflect on their own positionality and how it impacts their practice.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Recognize how PBIS can be leveraged as a tool to achieve an equitable community.
  2. Learn to understand your school context for finding opportunities for collaboration in the implementation of PBIS using an equity lens.
  3. Leave with one self-reflection activity to use after the townhall.
  4. Know how to access resources about PBIS, Role of the SSW & Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
