Tasha M. Childs, PhD, MSW, LMSW received her bachelor’s degree in Education (2017) and Master of Social Work (2019), with a concentration in school social work, from The Ohio State University. She completed her doctoral education at the University of South Carolina College of Social Work. She is a licensed social worker in Ohio, South Carolina, Alaska (pending), and Missouri (pending). Her current work centers students’ experiences of racial inequity in PK-12 public education, specifically teacher racial bias, and focuses on improving equitable access to mental health supports for children and adolescents.
